The main Lodge building has an understated elegance and provides an hospitable haven where guests can relax during the day in the study or the Trophy Room, and gather in the evening for pre-dinner drinks, warmed by blazing fires.

Huka Lodge cuisine is outstanding and showcases the best of New Zealand’s food and wine. Meals are table d’hôte and feature fresh premium New Zealand produce, accompanied by equally sophisticated wines. Dining options at Huka Lodge are varied and truly special. The terrace or the library, the Trophy Room, the Wine Cellar, the riverbank or garden – an elegant setting will be arranged for large groups or for more intimate dining.

Wairakei International Golf Course is just a five-minute drive from Huka Lodge and a great favourite with the guests. There are also additional golfing opportunities provided by a total of eight courses in the surrounding area. Within the grounds guests are welcome to play tennis, croquet, petanque swim or soak in the spa pools. In the privacy of their room guests can enjoy a massage or facial.

The tariff at Huka Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, pre-dinner drinks, a superb five-course dinner, country breakfast, use of all Lodge facilities and Taupo Airport transfers. Attractive mid-season rates are available from 01 May through to 30 September.
