Drive (from Taupo): Cape Kidnappers is approximately 2 and a half hours driving time from Taupo, travelling south via State Highway 5.
Drive (from Wellington): Cape Kidnappers is approximately 4 hours driving time from Wellington, travelling north via State Highway 2.
