New Zealand has two courses in the Golf Digest World Top 50 rankings.

Both Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers are spectacular examples of courses crafted into the awe-inspiring coastal landscapes of this very special part of the planet.

Kauri Cliffs

"....All it took was one look at the rolling hills, seaside cliffs and sweeping islands shimmering in the pristine ocean below to understand New Zealand is truly unlike anywhere else in the world. And that was just the setting from the world's most spectacularly scenic driving range, perched high above the rolling landscape and ocean cliff views."

Cape Kidnappers

"...Cape Kidnappers is one amazing golf course. Julian Robertson, who also owns Kauri Cliffs, brought in Tom Doak to design the course on the ridge-and-valley landscape high above the sea. Says Doak, “if Cape Kidnappers were a book it would be an epic”. Webster’s defines an epic as “lofty in conception; in the grand style” and Cape Kidnappers is both. If an owner spends millions of dollars on a ten mile road just to get you to his golf course, there must be a reason."
